What is Glorious Goodwood?
Staged over five days at one of the world's most beautiful racecourses, Glorious Goodwood features a host of Group action, and the chance to attend a social highlight of the British racing - and sporting - calendar. Above Goodwood House (home to the Duke of Richmond, who organises the meeting), the track looks out over the rolling hills of the South Downs on one side, and across the English Channel on the other.
What's the itinerary?
Arriving the night before your chosen race day, we put you up in top quality hotels surrounding the course. The next morning, and after a large inclusive breakfast, we transfer you through the Sussex countryside, delivering you to Goodwood, from where we pick you up an hour after the last race.
What happened in 2023?
Al Husn delivered a shock in the Nassau on Day Three, after Quickthorn pulled similar upset on Day One, going fifteen lengths clear in the Goodwood Cup. Quickthorn's jockey, Tom Marquand, would go on to deliver success for TM The King & Queen later in the week, while our ambassador, Frankie Dettori, saw success in the Lennox, though he was held behind Paddington in the Sussex on Day Two.
Where are you staying?
Our hotels are all in easy reach of the course, Chichester, and the rest of the south coast, as well as lying in good distance of London and other areas of the country. Feel free to ensure your hotel includes a spa, and let us know if you'd like us to add hospitality to your booking, so you can spend the afternoon in total comfort.
