Queen Anne Enclosure / Winning Post Enclosure
Whilst racegoers are encouraged to dress for a smart occasion, no formal Dress Code applies in the Queen Anne and Winning Post Enclosure. However, during the Flat season at Ascot, guests generally choose to dress for a smart occasion. Millinery is not compulsory, but hats and fascinators are encouraged.
King Edward VII Enclosure
Guests are required to dress for a smart summer occasion. Gentlemen must wear a jacket, collared shirt and tie. Millinery is not compulsory, but hats and headpieces are encouraged. Examples of acceptable attire include but are not limited to:
- a dress, suit or jumpsuit with a hat or headpiece
- Tailored trousers with a jacket, collared shirt and tie.
Trainers are not allowed.
