Wednesday 28th April 2027

  • Upon arrival into Louisville you’ll check into the hotel and get comfortable before we head out that evening for some welcome drinks, a great way to start the weekend and a chance for you to meet other members of the group.
  • If desired, we can assist in booking flights and/or airport transfers, just let us know your preferred departure airport. We can also offer flight upgrades on request.

Thursday 29th April 2027

  • On Thursday we’ll head off to a local Distillery for a tour – you’ll find out how they make their famous Bourbon and just why Kentucky produces 95% of the world’s supply!
  • Following the tour we’ll enjoy lunch together before the rest of the day is yours to explore Louisville. You might choose to head to the Muhammed Ali Museum or some of the city’s other famous attractions.
  • On Thursday evening you’re invited to a Celebrity Dinner & Drinks party, exclusively for Racing Breaks guests.

Friday 30th April 2027

  • Friday is day one of the racing, with the highlight being the Kentucky Oaks. You’ll be transferred to Churchill Downs and will enjoy hospitality in the Home Stretch Club with all food & drink included.
  • Your hospitality also includes undercover seats from which to witness all the races.
  • Following the conclusion of the racing you’ll be transferred back to the hotel and you’ll have the chance to attend a party on Friday night, or have the evening to relax.

Saturday 1st May 2027

  • Saturday is the main event, you’ll be transferred back to Churchill Downs for another day’s racing with the highlight being the Kentucky Derby itself.
  • You’ll again enjoy Homestretch Club hospitality with all food & drink included throughout the day alongside your grandstand seats.
  • After another full days racing you’ll be transferred back to the hotel and again can choose to attend a post-racing party, or simply relax at the hotel.

  • After a busy few days our trip concludes. Depending on the time of your flight home you’ll have more time to explore Louisville, before heading back to the airport.

Kentucky Oaks

The Run‑for‑the‑Lilies kicks off the highlight weekend with the Longines Kentucky Oaks, a prestigious Grade I race for three‑year‑old fillies offering a rich purse and rich tradition. Held the day before the Derby, Oaks Day is also known for its spirited “Pink Out” celebrations in support of breast cancer awareness, making it both a major racing contest and a vibrant fashion and social event.

Saturday 1st May 2027

Kentucky Derby

The following day sees the running of the Kentucky Derby, often called “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports®” and the first jewel of the Triple Crown. This iconic Grade I 1⅛‑mile race for three‑year‑olds draws elite horses and huge crowds, combining thrilling on‑track drama with deep‑rooted traditions, bold fashion and festive atmosphere at one of the sport’s most historic venues.
