This shining ruby Pinot Noir sings with aromas of ripe red cherry and violet supported with base notes of tobacco and vanilla from ageing in French Oak. The palate has a bright acidity with light but grippy tannins. With its juicy red fruit profile, this wine is the perfect pairing to roast turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Horses are under ‘Starters Orders’ at the start of a race, all excited and ready to run. Yotes Court named this wine ‘Starter’s Orders’ to signify the start of our wine making journey. The Pinot Noir vines were the first to be planted in the vineyard and the 2022 vintage is the first still red wine to be made from their grapes.

Aromas of fresh-from-the-oven bread crust from 3 years on lees are complemented by the lifted red fruit profile from Pinot Noir dominated by wild raspberry and crunchy red apple. A structured wine with a fragrant finish and the obvious choice for toasts and celebrations. Susannah Ricci, owner of Yotes Court, named this wine after her six-time Grade 1 winning chaser who retired in July 2023.
