The racing... the most important part...top class with the biggest names having come and won here. To break it down, the Ebor Festival is run over four day, each day has an epic feature race that you do not want to miss. Starting with the Wednesday, The Juddmonte International, the richest race of the season at York racecourse. Previous years have seen ROARING LION and AUSTRALIA to post first and it looks like this year could be just as special with the mighty CRYSTAL OCEAN. There is also a Group 2 on the Wednesday which currently has DASHING WILLOUGHBY entered; the Royal Ascot Queen’s Vase winner. Thursday is Ladies day and will see the Ladies (and Gentlemen) of Yorkshire turn out in their finest outfits. The prize for best dressed is always something to look forward to and this years’ prize features a £250 John Lewis Hamper and a day in John Lewis plus much much more. This is also a big day for the ladies of the four legged variety with the Mares and Fillies Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks. This saw SEA OF CLASS win last year and ENABLE the year before. Now ENABLE is back to take the cup again, this will most likely be her warm up before Paris and was a surprise to many that Gosden has decided to give her the run. Gosden will also line up ANAPURNA who won the epsom Oaks under Frankie.
