In advance of your trip to the Arc we caught up with Racing Breaks Ambassador Frankie Dettori and asked him to name some of his favourite restaurants in Paris! You may or may not know but Mr Dettori is a big foodie and loves nothing more than a good restaurant….well, apart from winning the Arc again of course!
Kong
Frankie says - “I love Japanese food wherever I am in the world - you can’t beat it and this is one of the best around”
This is much more than just a restaurant, we visited it last year on his recommendation and it really does live up to its reputation. It has a vibrant bar and views galore. Kong has a spectacular glass roof so you can look over Paris and drink in the view while sipping on one of their fantastic cocktails! The decor is ultra modern and it has a great atmosphere, with a live DJ and a great bar if you just fancy a drink.
Now onto the all important food! The food here is next level good, all beautifully presented to you and with perfect portion sizes and great sharing plates, you can try plenty! One of the best Japanese restaurants around and worth a try!

Chez Francoise
Frankie says - “Amazing local cuisine, a must try for proper French food”
Everything you want in a proper French restaurant, local cuisine, waiters that barely speak English and all set in a truly French style.
The food is beautifully done with traditional French dishes and fantastic wines to accompany. The sea-bass is so delicious and comes highly recommended! Just a heads up this can, like many french restaurants, be hard to find so follow the directions on their website carefully!

Epicure
Frankie says - “This one is a little fancy, but the setting is stunning and the food is fantastic”
This place is amazing, and once you step inside you will see why. You almost can’t believe you are in a bustling city. The restaurant is a piece of heaven in this crazy city, complete with a gorgeous courtyard garden.
This is no ordinary restaurant, it has 3 Michelin stars no less. It is set in the Le Bristol Hotel which is located in the heart of the city. The hotel is one of the most highly regarded in Paris and of course has the price tags to match, however if you are looking to treat yourselves then this is the place for you!

La Coupole
Frankie says - “One of my go to restaurants for a nice meal with a group of friends and family, very reasonable prices”
This restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a nice meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is in the prime location to then spend the rest of the day adventuring around all of Paris’ attractions. The menu offers an array of French cuisine which is presented and served beautifully. There is plenty of delicious food to choose from and something to suit everyone’s taste from the best ‘les fruits de mer’ - seafood, meat, soups, salads, and some of the best sweet desserts that you will definitely want to save space for.
Overall, the food is reasonably priced and offers a true Parisian experience with a great atmosphere, impeccable service, and authentic cuisine. Of course, you can also make the most of the extensive wine list with a plethora of only the best French wines.
