Collingwood Insurance Beeswing Ladies Day

27 July 2019

Now firmly established as the highlight of the social calendar in the North East, Ladies Day is the perfect setting to enjoy a day out with your friends and family. The most glamorous race day of the flat season combines an exciting day of fashion, fillies and of course a glass of fizz.

Dressing to impress is highly recommended on Ladies Day, as the Best Dressed Lady competition will once again be centre stage during the afternoon. Thousands of pounds worth of prizes are on offer to the Best Dressed Lady, runner-up and top 10 finalists. A full prize list will be available on request and will be listed in the Raceday Programme.

As well as great racing and the Best Dressed Lady competition, there will be live music and entertainment throughout the day and after racing.

This raceday also features the third running of a Silk Series race at Newcastle, a race exclusively contested by female jockeys. The Silk Series is a £150,000 race series for female jockeys, staged across 13 British racecourses, showcasing talent and supporting Cancer Research UK.
