Where to be for the best views

Premier Enclosure

Offering superb viewing from the Premier Grandstand, viewing of the Parade Ring & admission into the Premier enclosure gives you access to all public areas on course. This includes the Premier Bar, Hoops Bistro and Champagne Bar and Silks Restaurant at the Platinum Suite.

Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure

Viewing of the Parade Ring & admission into the Betting Hall and Grandstand Steppings. This enclosure has access to a wide variety of food outlets, including Fish and Chips, Hog Roast and Jacket Potatoes.

Centre Course Family Enclosure

A firm favourite with families the Centre Course provides children's' entertainment during the summer months. With acres of picnic space, bar facilities, fast food outlets and betting services it has something for everyone! The Centre Course Family Enclosure offers a close up view of the racing action for a great price.

How to find us


By Train

Uttoxeter Railway station is adjacent to the racecourse. Most intercity services run trains to Derby and Stoke on Trent. Then from there you can board a connecting train to Uttoxeter. A direct service also operates from Crewe.

By Road

From the North West
M6 to Junction 15, then follow signs for A50 Uttoxeter/Derby

From the North East
M1 to Junction 24a, straight onto the A50 following signs for Uttoxeter/Derby.

From the South and South West
From M5(J4a) or M40 (J3a), join the M42 (J7).
Exit M42 at Junction 9 (Lichfield) follow signs for Lichfield and A38 (Burton/Derby).
Exit M42 at Junction 9 (Lichfield) follow signs for Lichfield and A38 (Burton/Derby).
Exit M42 at Junction 9 (Lichfield) follow signs for Lichfield and A38 (Burton/Derby).
Exit at Junction 14 and take A513 to Stafford, then A518 (Uttoxeter)

From the South East
M1 To Junction 23a, the A50 (Uttoxeter/Stoke).
Once in Uttoxeter follow the brown signs to Wood Lane and take the second turning on the left signed to Main Entrance and Conference Centre.


Parking is free.

Dress Codes

What to wear

There is no strict dress code although many visitors choose to dress for the occasion and a smart casual look is often adopted. Jeans and tailored shorts are perfectly acceptable, but sports shirts, ripped jeans, casual shorts and white trainers are not permitted. We recommend that you dress for the weather and wear something comfortable for a day outdoors.

For the glamorous occasions such as Ladies Day and Gentlemen’s Day, racegoers make an extra effort to dress up. It’s definitely worth the effort to dress to impress if you want to be in with a chance of winning some of the fantastic prizes for best outfit or best hat!

Most public areas are suitable for any form of footwear, however the Centre Course has some grassed areas.
