How to find us


By Road

Tipperary Racecourse is located c.3.5km outside Tipperary Town on the Limerick road.

By Train

Limerick Junction Train Station is only a 5minute walk from the racecourse, and is visible from the grandstands. Most trains going between Limerick, Cork and Dublin all stop at Limerick Junction.

By Bus

There is a Bus Eireann stop outside the racecourse for those traveling by bus on the Tipperary to Limerick route.


Parking is available at the racecourse for anyone coming racing.

The History

Tipperary is a left handed oval of 1 1/4 miles with run in of 2 1/2 furlongs. Straight 5 furlongs shoot. 6 hurdles and 6 fences on circuit.
