Gentlemen's Day returns to Royal Windsor Racecourse on Saturday 29 June with Ministry of Sound and an incredible line-up, featuring Tim Cullen, Full Intention and a headline DJ set from Basement Jaxx!

Where to be for the best views

THE CLUB ENCLOSURE

A ticket to this area includes access to the Club, Grandstand and Silver Ring Enclosures, Centre of the Course and Paddock Lawn. The enclosure offers multiple views of the track, and its prime position next to the winning post as well as its big screen, ensure that you won't miss one moment of the action. A host of bars and three delightful restaurants are all available within the enclosure. It is also important to note that The Parade Ring, Pre-Parade Ring and Winner's Enclosure are also all close by, and are open to Club ticket holders.

THE GRANDSTAND ENCLOSURE

Located within 75 yards of the winning post, the Grandstand Enclosure provides guests with a great view of the track. A ticket to this area also includes access to the Silver Ring Enclosure, Centre of the Course and Paddock Lawn. A host of bars and restaurant are all available within the Grandstand Enclosure, including the popular Castle Restaurant. The restaurant advises bookings and like all restaurant dining across the course, politely asks guests to follow the dress code as set by The Club Enclosure. It is also important to note that the Parade Ring, Pre-Parade Ring and Winner's Enclosure are all just a short walk away and are open to Grandstand ticket holders.

THE SILVER RING ENCLOSURE (Closed from April to October)

Approximately 150 yards from the winning post, the Silver Ring Enclosure is the only area on the course where you may bring your own picnic. Although only open from May to August, the area is always sure to blossom in the sun and provides guests with an easygoing, sociable atmosphere. The Silver Ring enclosure also prohibits any alcohol brought in from outside the racecourse. Only alcohol purchased on site can be consumed, and any alcohol found otherwise will be confiscated and not returned.

Dress Codes

What to wear

There is no dress code for both the Grandstand and Silver Ring Enclosure at Royal Windor. Guests attending the Club Enclosure however, are expected to wear smart attire. Smart jeans and tailored shorts are allowed for men and a collared shirt must be worn. T-shirts, sports attire, cargo style shorts and trainers are all deemed inappropriate. Smart sandals for ladies are permitted, although beach style flip flops are not. Racegoers under the age of 18 are also encouraged to dress smartly. Despite no dress code for children under 12, parents should do their best to ensure their children are also dressed appropriately.

Directions

BY TRAIN

Windsor has three stations nearby - Windsor & Eton Central, Windsor & Eton Riverside and Slough. Trains run from Paddington and Waterloo to these stations. Once arriving, visitors have two options. While taxis are only a 10 minute drive to the racecourse, a river taxi service also operates for all race meetings from Barry Avenue Promenade opposite Browns restaurant in Windsor Town Centre. Just a short walk from Windsor train stations, the 10 minute boat ride may prove to be more scenic, and includes a full bar facility on board.

BY CAR

Windsor is conveniently situated for those located in London, with the racecourse approximately an hours drive from the city.

FROM THE NORTH

For those travelling from the North, exit the M25 motorway at J15 joining the M4 West Slough and Reading. After a short while, exit the M4 at J6, signposted Slough Central, Windsor A332, Eton, before taking the first left following the A332 to WIndsor. Take the slip road signposted A308 and Windsor Racecourse. Upon reaching the next roundabout, take the third exit towards A308 Maidenhead Road. The racecourse entrance will be on the right hand side.

FROM THE WEST

If travelling from the West, exit the M4 motorway at J8/9 signposted Maidenhead, before proceeding to join the A308 towards Windsor. Continue straight ahead over the first two roundabouts, where you will arrive on Maidenhead Road. Follow this road until reaching the racecourse on the left hand side.

FROM THE SOUTH

Finally those arriving from the South, should exit the M3 motorway at J3 signposted Woking Bracknell and Lightwater. Take the first exit at the roundabout following the A332 towards Windsor. Go straight over the first roundabout, before taking the first exit at the next large roundabout - signposted Windsor racecourse and Legoland. Follow this road, passing Legoland on the left hand side, until reaching traffic lights where you should turn left following signs to the racecourse. At the roundabout shortly after, go straight over and immediately take the slip road left signposted A308 Maidenhead. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Maidenhead Road following signs to the racecourse and the entrance will be on the right hand side.

Parking

Car parking at Windsor is both free and plentiful, and is just a short distance from the enclosure entrances.
