What to wear
There is no strict dress code although many visitors choose to dress for the occasion and a smart casual look is often adopted. Jeans and tailored shorts are perfectly acceptable, but sports shirts, ripped jeans, casual shorts and white trainers are not permitted. We recommend that you dress for the weather and wear something comfortable for a day outdoors.
For the glamorous occasions such as Ladies Day and Gentlemen’s Day, racegoers make an extra effort to dress up. It’s definitely worth the effort to dress to impress if you want to be in with a chance of winning some of the fantastic prizes for best outfit or best hat!
Most public areas are suitable for any form of footwear, however the Centre Course has some grassed areas.
