Overview


One of the most anticipated dates on the Irish Racing calendar is the Fairyhouse Easter Festival. Running in 2019 from Sunday April 21st to Tuesday April 23rd, the Festival has been the scene of some memorable occasions over the years such as AP McCoys last ever ride on Irish soil and the victory of Our Duke for trainer Jessica Harrington in 2017. An electric atmosphere is enjoyed on all 3 days and the tradition of the Fairyhouse Easter Festival is an experience not to be missed.

Where to be for the best views

General Enclosure

General Enclosure tickets give access to the entire racecourse enclosure including the main Powers and Jameson Grandstands. We have special Student, OAP and Online ticket prices available for each race day. Children under 16 years of age are admitted free of charge on all race days, when accompanied by a paying adult

There are several bars and food options available including The Bewleys Coffee Dock, The Tote Sports Lounge and Bar and The Self Service Restaurant.

Dress Codes

What to wear

In-keeping with the relaxed atmosphere we promote here at Fairyhouse, there is no strict dress code. We do however recommend smart casual when attending our Bobbyjo Bistro or Private Suites, however you are free to wear whats comfortable for you. Suited and booted or hats and all out style, all is welcome at Fairyhouse (and don’t forget the unpredictable Irish weather!)

How to find us

Fairyhouse Racecourse is located approx. 20km from Dublin Airport and 25km from Dublin City Centre in the town of Ratoath, County Meath.

Directions

By Train

Connolly Station to M3 Parkway: Saturday February 24th 2018 Train departs at 11.47 arriving at 12.27 Train departs at 12.49 arriving at 13.29

M3 Parkway - Dublin Connolly: Saturday February 24th 2018 Shuttle bus will leave the course at 17.40

By Bus

The 105 Bus Eireann Bus also stops right outside the racecourse

By Car

From the North

Follow Motorway (M1) and exit at Junction 10 and then take the signs for slane on the N51. Enter Slane and take the N 2 for Dublin, and proceed for approx 20 miles and at turn right at junction with R155 (signposted Ratoath). Forward over crossroads at Ratoath and Fairyhouse Racecourse is located on the left.

From Dublin

From the City Centre take N3 towards Navan, passing Blanchardstown Shopping Centre on your left. Proceed for approx. 6 miles on the new M3 and take EXIT 5 for Ratoath/Fairyhouse. Follow signs for Fairyhouse, turn right onto R155 and proceed for two miles. Fairyhouse Racecourse is located on the right.

From the West

After Enfield take Motorway (M4) Dublin. At roundabout (signposted M50 Northbound) take first exit to join Motorway (M50). Proceed through toll exiting onto N3 (Cavan/Navan). Proceed forward for approx. 6 miles on the new M3 and take EXIT 5 for Ratoath / Fairyhouse. Follow signs for Fairyhouse, turn right onto R155 and proceed for two miles. Fairyhouse Racecourse is located on the right.

From the South

Take N7 towards Dublin, at Red Cow roundabout take M50 Northbound. Proceed through toll exiting onto N3 (Cavan/Navan). Proceed forward for approx. 6 miles on the new M3 and take EXIT 5 for Ratoath / Fairyhouse. Follow signs for Fairyhouse, turn right onto R155 and proceed for two miles. Fairyhouse Racecourse is located on the right.

Parking

Yes. There is free car parking at Fairyhouse. There is plenty of car parking however on busy days we do advise early arrival. Raceday staff will direct to appropriate car parks on busy days.
